The IMSA G730

To be an real IMSA unique, there has to be more modified than only technicals. So we refined the G-Cabrio with high quality autoclave carbonfibre parts which resulted an impressive and at the same time very exclusive luxury look. The new front consists of new Air Inlets, Frontlips and the black chromed underride protection from V4A Stainless Steel. The wider front and rear fen-ders in combination with the new sideskirts with black chromed sidesteps and the tailor-made cnc-machined exhaust tailpipes continued the conversion.
At the back we developed a new carbonfibre rear bumper with an perfect fitting black chromed underride rear protection. The additional carbonfibre parts complete the picture. Here we installed a complete
Carbonfibre Engine-Bonnet, Carbon Front-Grill, Carbon Bugles for Front and Rearbumper, Carbon Mirror and Carbon Air-Intakes in the front fenders. Finally we installed matt black chromed Head- and Day-Driving-lights. The 22 Inch forged IMSA VR1 lightwheigt Wheels, in Anthrazite matt painted, fit harmoniously to the body-works.

The final step for a 1-of Conversion is the Candy NAC Brown paint.

We took the AMG G63 Engine, AMG Ge-arbox, AMG Axle´s with differiantial and AMG Brake´s. At first it seams to be an easy job but to fit all the technic from the long-wheel base version into the short-wheel base version requires a lot of changes. Espacially the gearbox had to be modified and needed a complete new management unit, which we
developed.
All this was not enough. We converted the engine to 730HP and 1180NM with bigger Turbocharger´s, high flow outlett pipes, Downpipe´s, Sportcatalyst´s, Re-armuffler´s and an bigger radiator for the intercooling system.
The gearbox had to be redesigned and re-dimensioned due to the greatly increased engine out-put.
